With the advent and consolidation of the field of Translation Studies in the country and the formation of master courses and Doctoral Translation Studies with aim of training researchers and translation professors, and on the other hand, due to the movement of the world of science and knowledge towards practical knowledge, doing practical researches is absolutely necessary.
Iran's Translation Industry to access its long term goals needs the focus towards the Research to be developed in all aspects.
R&D Management Association in Tehran, aiming to achieve scientific and practical standards in various fields such as: rating system of translators, criticism of translations, Translation Quality Management, pricing system of Translations and Translation and technology has been put on an extremely important subject of research and development in its agenda. Additionally, it does intend as well as taking advantage of the scientific capacities of the country in the Translation Industry, strengthening the scientific principals in all fields of translation.
Employing researchers in Translation Studies in order to carry out Research Projects is one of Association’s activities to create a new job called "Translation Researcher” (a researcher in the field of translation) which results in Job Creation.
