A panel of translation experts will discuss translation rights to assert the importance and aspects of intangible property rights.
Berne convention, intellectual property rights, auditing translated works and parallel translations are the four subjects that will be discussed in the panel.
Mohammadreza Arbabi (licensed Justice Ministry expert and chairman of TIAT), Seyyed Abbas Hosseini-Nik (chairman of academic books publishers), Shiva Moghanloo (reviewer, translator and author), Mozhgan Dolat-Abadi (Translator) and A'zam Samadi (jurist of intellectual property office in Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance) are the panelists.
TIAT has held many workshops and sessions on national and international aspects of translation rights and this time regarding to membership of TIAT in International Federation of Translators (IFT) and also for the presence of TIAT's special delegate in specialized department of literary translations in FIT, TIAT intends to hold such discussion panel.
The panel is free for all interested persons and will be held on Oct. 17, 2018 at Sarāy-e Ahl-e Ghalam, Tehran.
