Third International Congress on Translation and Interpretation
WHEN CULTURES MEET LANGUAGES
Innovation, Challenges, and Technological Competitiveness
March 29-30, 2019 | Republic of Panama
The Panamanian Association of Translators and Interpreters (APTI) is pleased to announce its Third International Congress on Translation and Interpretation.
The theme of the Congress: "Innovation, Challenges, and Technological Competitiveness" is designed to underscore the role of the translator and interpreter as cultural mediator in the process of intercultural communication, its evolution, changes, and adaptation to new challenges over time.

The spoken language reflects the nature of the society in which it originates, its customs and traditions, the priorities and preferences of its inhabitants, and their perspective of the world.
TOPICS OF INTEREST:
The main topics to be discussed may touch upon but are not limited to the following:
Linguistics, project management and marketing, technology and innovation, indigenous languages, sign language interpretation, finance, law, medicine, literature, terminology and training.
