XI^th CUBA-QUÉBEC INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON TRANSLATION, TERMINOLOGY AND INTERPRETATION

Press conference on the occasion of World Translation Day (September 30) was taken place at Tehran. 

Main objects of celebrating the national day of translators in Iran in coincidence with World Translation Day (September 30) were mentioned in the conference by Mohammadreza Arbabi, Chairman of Translators and Interpreter's Association of Tehran (TIAT). This celebration postponed until after the months of Muharram and Safar and it is planned to be held for the 4^th time on November 9 in Tehran.

The South African Translators’ Institute is holding its Third Triennial Conference this year. The conference is also the occasion for awarding our Prizes of Excellence and celebrating International Translation Day, which is marked worldwide as an official UN day on 30 September. AsLing (the International Association for Advancement in Language Technology) is delighted to announce the forthcoming 40th annual Translating and the Computer Conference (TC40).

WHAT?

The International Federation of Translators (FIT) is launching a poster competition to promote the International Translation Day (ITD), which is celebrated annually on 30 September. The competition is open to professional designers from around the world, through FIT member associations, who are interested in submitting posters that promote ITD.
