With the advent and consolidation of the field of Translation Studies in the country and the formation of master courses and Doctoral Translation Studies with aim of training researchers and translation professors, and on the other hand, due to the movement of the world of science and knowledge towards practical knowledge, doing practical researches is absolutely necessary.‎

 

Iran's Translation Industry to access its long term goals needs the focus towards the Research to be developed in all aspects.‎

Support Plan Regulations of Translator’s and Interpreters’ Association of Tehran in publication

 

Introduction:

At the moment, many novice translators in our country have difficulty in publishing their first book translated and publishers rely less on anonymous translators.‎ If someone is willing to publish his work to enjoy the benefits of literati membership such as banking facilities and insurance, while completing his resume, he must spend high costs in order that the publisher agrees with the publication of his work.‎

Public Relations and International Affairs

No doubt, public relations are eyes, ears and expressive language of any organization.‎ Translator’s and Interpreters’ Association of Tehran, belonging to the translation community in terms of substantive, needs to communicate directly with its educated members.‎ The Association’s public relations try to establish a strong relationship between the Association and its members by providing timely and appropriate news in relation to the Association, and also transferring the appropriate comments, suggestions and feedbacks to the competent authorities.‎

Physical Education

Healthy mind is in the healthy body.‎ Everyone believes that exercise has a direct impact on increasing productivity, job performance and of course the health of people living in today’s complex and busy life.‎

Legal Affairs

The vindication of rights of the guild associations’ members, including the translators, requires the institutionalization of legal awareness, legislation and binding regulations at different levels.‎ Duties of Legal Commission of Translator’s and Interpreters’ Association of Tehran are as follows:

Compiling of standard contracts in order to organize the translators cooperation with the employers;‎

Informing the translators about existing laws and regulations;‎

وداع با مترجم فرهیخته

دکتر افضل وثوقی، استاد و مترجم برجسته‌ی زبان فرانسه و انگلیسی شامگاه دوشنبه ۱۴ فروردین ۹۶ در مشهد دار فانی را وداع گفت. وی در سال ۱۳۱۴ در شهرستان سقز چشم به جهان گشود. استاد وثوقی در سال ۱۳۳۴ موفق به اخذ مدرک کارشناسی زبان فرانسه از دانشگاه تبریز شد و پس از آن دوره‌های کارشناسی ارشد و دکتری را در دانشگاه پاریس هفت (ژوسیو) گذراند. او پس از فراغت از تحصیل، به تدریس، مطالعه و پژوهش و ترجمه پرداخت و از سال ۱۳۵۷ فعالیت خود را به عنوان مترجم رسمی دادگستری خراسان آغاز کرد.

چهاردهم فروردین سالروز درگذشت احمد آرام ، مترجم و نویسنده معاصر

احمد آرام در ۷ فروردین ۱۲۸۳ (۱۸ ذیحجه ۱۳۱۹) برابر با ۱ آوریل ۱۹۰۴ در محله چاله‌میدان تهران متولد شد. پس از پایان تحصیلات متوسطه از دارالفنون، در سال ۱۳۰۴ به تدریس فیزیک و شیمی پرداخت. او متوجه شد که درس‌های تجربی بصورت نظری و بدون فعالیت آزمایشگاهی تدریس می‌شود. ایشان به ابتکار جدیدی دست زد و کتابی با عنوان هدیه سال نو «مجموعه تجربیات فیزیکی و شیمیایی» منتشر کرد. «هدیه سال نو» نخستین کتاب آموزشی در کارهای آزمایشگاهی شامل آزمایش‌های فیزیک و شیمی است که استاد احمد آرام آن را در بهمن سال ۱۳۰۴ تألیف کرده‌است.

۱۴ فروردین زادروز نادر ابراهیمی، داستان نویس ، مترجم و روزنامه نگار

نادر ابراهیمی در چهاردهم فروردین‌ماه سال ١٣١۵ در تهران به‌ دنیا آمد. وی تحصیلات مقدماتی را در این شهر گذراند و پس از گرفتن دیپلم ادبی از دبیرستان دارالفنون، به دانشكده‌ی حقوق وارد شد. اما این دانشكده را پس از دو سال رها كرد و سپس در رشته‌ی زبان و ادبیات انگلیسی به درجه‌ی لیسانس رسید. او از ١٣ سالگی به یك سازمان سیاسی پیوست كه بارها دستگیری، بازجویی و زندان رفتن را برایش درپی داشت.

سیزدهم فروردین سالروز درگذشت قاسم هاشمی‌نژاد نویسنده، روزنامه نگار، مصحح و مترجم

قاسم هاشمی‌نژاد در سال ۱۳۱۹ زاده شد. مادربزرگ وی خیرالنساء هاشمی‌نژاد زنی بود روستایی از شهر آمل استان مازندران که قاسم هاشمی‌نژاد زندگی وی را در پوششی رازآمیز در داستان «خیرالنساء (۱۲۷۰–۱۳۶۷): یک سرگذشت» خود نوشته‌است. او نویسنده، روزنامه نگار، مصحح و مترجم ایرانی بود. وی در دهه۱۳۴۰ در روزنامه آیندگان نقد ادبی می‌نوشت و در سال ۱۳۵۸ یکی از بهترین رمان‌های پلیسی ایران را با نام «فیل در تاریکی» نوشت که مشهورترین اثر وی به شمار می‌رود.
